Le Grand Bal
Bracelet
JEWELLERY EDITIONS
Details

Fashioned from 18-carat rose gold and blackened 925 silver, this cuff bracelet is directly inspired by the historical identity of the location – the octagon – and the interior – the tapestry. Innovation, avant-gardism, originality and craftsmanship are writ large here.
Composed of seven octagonal elements, this exceptional piece can be laid completely flat because it is entirely jointed. Each octagon features a screwed back and a silver plate lined with silk the colour of emerald green. This delicate work is the fruit of collaboration between a jeweller and a master upholsterer working in the realm of interior design in Geneva.
A sapphire crystal, placed on the fabric to protect it, provides a beautiful play of reflections and a mirror effect in acknowledgement of the interior design and the object itself. Sapphire is the second hardest substance after diamond. Often used in watchmaking, this sapphire crystal has the same chemical properties as natural sapphire. The seven octagonal elements are set with gemstones of various colours, while the clasp is set with diamonds. All this for a total of 1,275 stones yielding 21 carats! In order to create a subtle colour composition, the pavé setting is fashioned from amethysts, emeralds, colour-changing garnets, pink sapphires, purple sapphires and tsavorites. The back of the bracelet is engraved.
Length: 18 cm.
Created and handcrafted in Geneva, Switzerland / 2022.
